About Kansas House District 88 — Wichita & Andover

Kansas House District 88 includes neighborhoods in southeast Wichita (Sedgwick County) and a portion of Andover in Butler County, making it one of the most unique and diverse districts in the state.

The district includes areas along the Kellogg/US-54 corridor, from Rock Road to Webb Road, and stretches toward I-135 and the neighborhoods near McConnell Air Force Base.

HD-88 is one of the most diverse districts in Kansas:

  • Democrats: 27.48%

  • Republicans: 34.32%

  • Unaffiliated: 36.45%

The Andover portion, with fewer than 1,000 voters, consistently turns out at high rates and often decides close elections. House District 88 has been won or lost by narrow margins for multiple cycles.
